We got up early this am, and the fellow from Budget Blinds measured and gave us a quote on the blinds.  Ouch, almost a $1000 for 4 blinds.

Another appointment was to get Dusty shaved, Vadie could not do him as he squirmed way to much.  Vadie went in to hold him as he was a nervous wreck getting it done, although not a perfect haircut, he has been trimmed, cut, his hair is a lot shorter.

Since we were not far from Lowe’s and Home Depot, we decided to go in and check out their prices for similar blinds – a whole lot better, ½ of what Budget Blinds wanted.  We have not made our decision yet, as it is a lot of money for something that is not critical.

The rest of the day was a lazy day, and Vadie did not want to cook so we went to a newly opened Denny’s for dinner.  My dinner was good, but again Vadie’s dinner was cold – her luck with Denny’s has not been good.  She took the leftovers home and is going to fry it up tomorrow.

Special People tonight – Larry and Jeanette Scott – Larry was my partner at work, due to happenings as work, we are now on opposite shifts.   Working with him was generally great, we were able to discuss work and get the work done very efficiently.  He recently became a grandpa to a lovely young girl – congratulations.  Remember – you are to spoil the grandchild and send them wired back to their parents LOL.
