We got up early this am to head to
Quartzite to go to the Car and Craft show. We had a few raindrops on our way
there as well as when we got to Quartzite.
We arrived at Q about 9:20am and to our surprise we saw a few of the car
show vehicles leaving. We heard other
vehicles start up so we went and investigated, and there were a number of
vehicles that we were leaving, so I took pics as they were leaving. Inside the tent, there were quite a number of
others as well, so we continued walking through looking at the remaining
vehicles. The Gearhead show yesterday
was larger and better than this show.
Here are some of the pics:
love the T-birds
Hudson for sale
trucks as they were leaving
just like the old days
Shriners clown car
nice wagon
trike built on Ford chassis
Cadillac
Dodge
After this we headed to the Craft
show. What a disappointment, the craft
show was not even there. There were some
vendors there still selling craft type items but certainly no craft show.
Travelling all this way was quite a
disappointment.
When we got back to Yuma, we had a
get together with Sonny and Pat, ladies made something to eat and then it was
to watch the Super Bowl. Not too bad a
game but CFL is a lot better than the NFL/AFL in my humble opinion. Nevertheless it was a good game.
One thing which has not been
working on the coach is the TV, even though I installed an omni directional
antenna we still cannot get any reception.
Special people today – Egil and
Shelley Ingvallsen – congratulations – a new granddaughter. Great friends who take us fishing, or give us
fish at the end of the season.
