Hmmm another day that I made her coffee in bed, Jake brought the paper to her, and then I made breakfast – dang this is becoming a habit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started cleaning up the back bumper on the coach, gonna get it nice and shiny, but only one part is done, that was enough for today.

I cleaned up around the coach, and put most everything away, to get ready to leave tomorrow.  Kevin and Joanni were going to meet us down here somewhere, and we have not heard from them, so we will continue with our plans, whatever they might be LOL.

Vadie was to do the laundry, but she got busy doing some of her craft things, so it did not get done – another reason not to leave tomorrow LOL.

What a life, easy come, easy go.

We told Sonny and Pat, that we were going to stay another day or so just to torment them some more.

Special people today –  I love Square dancing.  Thanks to all of the special people who taught me to Square dance as well as the people who go and have fun while they are dancing.

Another somewhat, do things as they come day. The weather was nice, but the wind picked up in the afternoon, but still warm.

I let Vadie sleep in this morning, and woke her up with coffee.  We had bagels for breakfast.

Went to thankyou party, from Yuma, to all the snowbirders. The city of Yuma should of had a welcome party with the information that was given out.

Vadie headed out to do some last minute grocery and clothe shopping, as well as take the car in for routine maintenance.

I continued on and finished polishing the last of the wheels, then I polished the strip along the skirt.

 aluminum on skirt polished
 wheel polished
 even have BB sticker

With the help of Sonny, the water container was put on top of the coach, then I tied it down, should be okay up there.

With our friends Herb and Jody Hood, and neighbours Sonny and Pat, we had a potluck type dinner. Jody brought chips and salsa, Vadie made spaghetti and Pat made us a brownie sundae dessert, a very delicious meal YUMMY.

After dinner, Sonny mentioned that we should be able to see the International Space Station streak across the sky from Northwest to Southeast, so we went outside and waited, it was a beautiful site to see.

Here is some pics of a rosary that Vadie made, it has 8mm round Rose Quartz being used as the beads.  It is heavy and looks very beautiful.

Special people today –  to my many mentors during my working career.  I have learned lots, remembered some and forgot lots, but each day goes by and I continue to learn.  Thankyou  to you all.

Another somewhat, do things as they come day.

I let Vadie sleep in this morning, and woke her up with coffee.

In the past three weeks we have been getting the paper delivered, actually the paper person throws the paper over the fence, and on rainy days, once this month, he actually puts it in a plastic bag, then throws it over.  I let Jake, our dog, out to do his morning ritual, then I go and clean it up hmmmm.   Once this is done, I call him and show him the paper, he now picks it up and runs into the coach with it, a couple of times he has brought it right into bed with Vadie, other times he requires some coaching.

I made breakfast, sausage, French toast, hash browns, a delicious breakfast.

After breakfast I headed outside to finish the wheels which I was polishing.  Jim and then Gerry, other snowbirders from BC, came over and instead of polishing we ended up talking for almost 3 hours, Vadie could not believe it, as she went uptown to do some more shopping and when she came home, we were all still talking HMMMMMM.

Once they left, Vadie had wanted to go orange and grapefruit picking for quite some time, so today was the day.  Off we went to the grove and did just that, and I have the battle wounds to prove it, those limbs are sharp.

Later in the afternoon, once there was shade again, I polished two of the three wheels.  They look pretty shiny. Once they are all polished I will post pics.

Also the bumpers on the coach are aluminum, but painted, and the paint is beginning to come off, so I took the paint off a small place and polished it, ahhh I really like it, maybe the bumpers might all come polished aluminum.

Vadie was busy in the kitchen as we are going to have guests over tomorrow for dinner, so she preparing for tomorrow, but today was a quickie, Kraft dinner, first time on this trip I think.

Here is a pic of the moon, I like it down here.

Special people today – Although they have passed away, they still remain deep within our hearts. Vadie’s father – Jerome, my father – Adrian, our grandparents, sister-in-law – Debbie, nephew – Sandy, and many residents that Vadie had cared for in her 16 years as a care-aide.

Wow, another day, and the wind makes all the difference.  The temp between the two days are almost identical, but does not seem as cold, back to shorts and Tshirt hehe.

Today, appointments have been made to get the bus and car washed and waxed.  Gordo’s, three Mexican fellows do a good and quick job of washing with streak free water and hand waxing.  However, they do not do the wheels, so I did them myself.  The cost for this job is $90.00.   Cheap.

Sonny and Pat got their coach done as well, but they did the waxing twice, one  to get the oxidation off and then the second to get it shiny, and they did the wheels, I never knew he had chrome wheels LOL.

As I do not like messing with propane, everything else is okay, I got a RV Tech to check out the bathroom suburban furnace.  Well it works fine, it was our fault for not having the recirculating air inlet open, that is where we put the things out of the tub and our clothes, so it was not getting the air to heat up hmmmm dummy me, live and learn.

Vadie did grocery shopping and is trying to get a chemical order ready to bring home.

Special people today – Tom and Doreen from Ketchican, Alaska, bus nut folks who we met on line.  They usually store their coach in the state of Washington, and travelled by car from Ketchican.  They would stop by either way, and we have become close friends.  He is very knowledgeable with mechanical and electrical, probably a lot of other things as well.  They recently have purchased a place in Kingman and we are going  to see them at the end of March.

Winds were up to 25 mph, gusty for sure.  Certainly could not do anything outside.

This made for a lazy day, TV watching day.

Vadie however set up a table and went to work on some more beading – cool that she is back into that, she does good work too.  I will get her to take some pics and I will post them.

We went to the outdoor flea market, all covered with tarps, as Vadie wanted to purchase some clothes, but she could not find what she wanted.

Special people today – Bob and Brenda Zurowski – friends who moved away from BC to Sask.  They live in a small community called Meota, which is about 20 miles north of North Battleford.  Hi to both of you, sorry we will not be able to get to see you this year.
