I made breakfast (only toast ) this morning, then it was
time to clean up the coach. We got the call from the movers that the bed was
being brought between noon and 2 pm.
Vadie and I took the old bed and put it outside the bus.
Although it was supposed to rain, 30 percent, it never
did. This certainly is not like home, if
they said 30 percent, it would rain. It
did stay cool with the wind though.
Vadie headed off to do the laundry, this should be the last
BIG laundry that she has to do, as Dusty usually made quite a mess, especially
in the last month or so. We do miss the
little guy, Vadie’s shadow.
While Vadie was doing the laundry, the movers came with the
bed. WOW, this bed is much lighter and more flexible, it was easy to get into
the coach. It is about 50% taller than
the old one, but it sure feels comfortable.
Sonny and Pat came over in the evening, and we showed them
numerous pics of where we live, the bears of where I work, and we looked on
Google maps to show where we both live.
They live in a small community called Lewistown, Montana.
When Vadie got home, she had a short nap on the new bed, Jake
likes it too.
Here is a pic of three oranges, two on left which I picked off a
tree that belongs to the city of Yuma,
Special people today – Flxible bus
owners – I am always so excited when I see one of these older coaches, rounded
tops and back, reminds me of the coach that I was converting, a 1960 P41 Western Flyer.
Pic of bus, all sheeted in before fire
When we were in Quartzite, the Flxible group
was hosting a rally as well, and I was invited to attend their open house. Thanks very much, another fine group of folks
just having fun.
