This morning we got a phone call
that Dusty’s ashes were ready for pickup.
At the Methodist church, they were
having a huge garage sale, this was being prepared last week. The nice thing about that down here, is the
chance of rain is slim to none, quite the opposite where we live. The garage
sales here also start really early, like 7 or 8 am, this being much too early
for Vadie to get up, so we go look at the leftovers LOL.
After the garage sale we headed to
pick up Dusty’s ashes.
Then headed to see what Jody and Herb were up to.Jody was just getting into the mood
to start cleaning up around the place where they were staying at, so I offered
our help. I told her that we would give
10 minutes of our time, but in actual fact we stayed 1 ½ hours. We got a good start on her task.
Sonny asked if we wanted to go to the “Way of the Cross” with them
tonight, Vadie didn’t but I did. After the prayers, we went to the church hall
and had soup.
While we were gone, Vadie worked on
beading, the project she was working on is almost completed.
Vadie also made dinner, all the
leftovers, wow, she sure know how to make it taste good.
This is what our sunsets look like.
Special people today – Vadie’s
aunts and uncles – even though we do not see them much, because they are
scattered throughout North America, each one is special in their own way.
