Wow another cool morning.
Even though it is cool at night, it sure makes up for it during the day
(22C).
Matt and I had a wonderful day of fixing things.
The awnings on both
coaches were lubricated, 14 of them, and on Matt’s coach we tightened the main
awning by one turn, and also found a split pin missing on the front end, this
made the awning not roll correctly.
Matt has two Honda generators (2000 watt each) which he can
tie together, but when he plugged it into his coach he always got reverse
polarity. We tied the ground to the
neutral at the generator and all is okay now.
One item which does not work the way Matt would like is the
starting/house batteries. After all the
work we did, and charged the system overnight, the two 6 volt alone will not
start the engine, the system has to be tied together.
Another task which was started, the drain system for the air
conditioners. The new air conditioners
which were installed drain onto the roof, thus causing streaks on the new paint
job. The plan is to tie all the systems
together and have a tube drain through the roof to under the coach.
Vadie today went shopping again, the threads were calling
her so she went to purchase fabric.
While she was out and about, she purchased a new phone, which will allow
us to call both the US and internationally.
Special people - Tim, Lori, JC, Bryson and Eron – for
adopting us and making us feel so special. John and Lil, whom I mentioned yesterday, are Lori's parents. Tim and Lori have taken over John and Lil's coach - 1963 GMC.
