Sept 17th – Bismark North Dakota

Sept 17th –  Bismark North Dakota                                                           Weather – Scatt Cloud  8 C
Total Kilometers this trip – 2937.9                                                             Kilometers today –  0

This morning we decided out to take the jacks out.  We removed the crossmember between the jacks and lowered the the jack and frame assembly together – this was very heavy.

Went to hydraulic shop, to see if they could rebuild jacks – their answer was - maybe a month or so.  He was not really helpful, so we asked him if he could remove the 4 bolts that hold the jack into the frame assembly.

On our way home we went and purchased a large socket set. We diassembled the cylinder then went back to the hydraulic shop for the parts we required, he was surprised to see us again so soon.  Well, he became interested and was very courteous to us, and helped us with everything we needed.

nut that had to come off
 shaft with pin
 seals worn out
 removing cylinder
 worn seals
Total cost  of red threadlock, some extra lockwashers, and seals etc for jacks, cost was about $60.

Again, back home we go and assembled the jacks, one of them had to wait till I got a small nut for the sensor, other than that we are ready to go.  They reassembled very easily.

Vadie went shopping for new flooring, but she came back with a new coffee pot???????   Ahhh she did have a sample though of a flooring though. After supper we went and purchased the flooring.

For supper, we went to Red Lobsters – as usual the shrimp was very tasty.

Special people  - Wanderlodge owners – for all the good input that is put onto the forums.
