Sept 13th – Moose Jaw - Sask – Bismark North Dakota

Sept 13th –  Moose Jaw -  Sask – Bismark North Dakota                 Weather – Scatt Cloud  14 C
Total Kilometers this trip – 2937.9                                                             Kilometers today –  634.1

The evening was really nice at Walmart parking lot. We met a couple from Quebec who were travelling to BC then southward, they told us of their tale when the civil workers were on strike in Vancouver and the garbage was piled high everywhere.  At that time they advised tourists to stay away from the city, to which they did. This was their return trip to see the sites of  Vancouver and surrounding area.

As we headed south, we saw many lovely man made things to portray their villages or cities.

Customs went smoothly, and because we wanted to stay 7 months they suggest that we go to Mexico for one day while we are in the south.

Even though the speed limit in some areas was 70mph we held a constant 57 mph (93kph) The bus drives nicely at this speed, and we encountered no mechanical problems.

Our new floor which we had installed, started turning up at the corners.  We will have to look to see what the problem is when we get to Matt’s. Dang, sure hope it is nothing serious.

We arrived at Bismark, Matthew met us at Walmart, then we headed to his house.  Shelley was doing the motherly thing, making sure the children got to their destinations on time.  Matthew and Shelley have three lovely children – Maddie, Ally, and Charles. We got the bus parked beside the house where he has water, sewer and power – wow this sure is nice.

Matthew figured he was going to take us out for dinner, but Vadie was a step ahead, we still had leftovers and she was heating it up – caribou chilli – YUMMY.

Special person today - Dave Jones for looking after our place in Kitimat, making it so we can go without worry – Thanks Dave.
