Sunday 24th
– John’s Birthday
Tim cooked a lovely breakfast, fit for a king.
We took the dogs for a walk, then it was time to take “Jake”
to a vet as he was really limping. The
vet said that he had pulled ligaments so
he is wearing a collar to stop licking and he not run.
Back to the campground to do a little more work on the 64.
For supper, we all went out for dinner to celebrate both
John and Lil’s birthday. The food was
delicious but the enjoyment and laughter was boisterous.

During the second World War, John was a tail gunner in a Lancaster
Lil with a singing elephant, John was totally thrilled with
it.
After dinner, we went back to the campsite, and tonight
Bryson, Tim and Lil’s son, also came and set up
a tent. We played bocce, the men
beat the ladies haha, then retired early as Tim, Lori and Erin had to go to
work early. Hmmmm well I guess someone
still has to go to work.
Just as we were going to bed, there was lightning and
the rain started.

Nice sunset just before it started to rain.
