May 14th to 18th - Good times with the Willey's

During the week of May 14th, as always, minor repairs were made to the coach, not only to mine but also to Les Willey's.  I got the water system functioning again, and that made Vadie happy.  During the day when we were alone, I polished a couple of wheels and things like that.
Les was having problems with his automatic levelling system, he had sent the control board for repairs but things still did not work properly.  He had contacted HWH but they were slow in getting back to him.  We exchanged boards, (and I found a problem which I will tackle later) but still did not solve all of his problems.  We went through the troubleshooting process and found another small board with some sort of electronic device and resetable breakers, and the electronic device was not working properly.  Since then, Les ordered the part and is happy that his automatic levelling system works.
Even though lots of work was done on the coaches, Les and Debbie took us to the Orthello tunnels, this is a group of tunnels which had formed part of the Kettle Valley Railway.  The engineer who had dreamt about putting this section through the rocks certainly had vision.

On May 18th we said goodbye and headed off to Chilliwack BC.
