Today we head from Fraser Valley to the Okanagan. Our destination is Uncle Joe and Deanna in Lumby BC.
Coquihalla River
Since we now have our newer coach, with a lot of horsepower, we decided to take the Coquihalla route which has steep hills both going up and of course, coming down. We climbed from basically sealevel, to the summit of 1,442 metres (4,142 feet), with the grades up to 8%.

Once we got to Kamloops we took Hwy 97 to Vernon, more twists and turns in this road but it is the shortest, and also has some nice scenery.
