June 22nd –
Municipal District of Tabor Campground
On Friday 22nd
, we continue setting up our campsite. As you can see by the extra
cord, we borrowed the power from the next campsite for the slow cooker while we
waited for them to come as Vadie was making dinner.
Tim and Lori graciously let us the use of their van, but it
was “hands off” of the Dodge Challenger hehe. We went in at 11 am so we could
go out for lunch with her mother Lil, as it is her 89th birthday
today. We drove to Lethbridge Ab, and
went to the Cheesecake Restaurant. Food
was delicious and the cheesecake pieces were huge, one piece enough for a
healthy serving for 2 people.
We did some shopping, then Vadie and I went back to the
campground to prepare for Tim and Lori’s arrival with their 64 Converted
coach. At about 8 pm Tim and Lori shows
up with the “Suzie Q” and we get it situated in the campground.
