We got up early today, and headed to Los Angoldones,Mexico
with our neighbours, Sonny and Pat.

Our polished BB and car
Los Algodones is a small place right across the border, it
apparently has the most dental, optometry and pharmacies in a four block area,
in the world.
In addition, sidewalk vendors were everywhere, something
which Vadie and I were not used to is the constant bombardment of Mexicans
trying to sell their wares.
However, Vadie could not hold back and purchased a very
lovely bowl, Mexican style.
We also purchased liquor and medication for the dogs as it
was fairly cheap.
and also very large marshmallows
On the way home, we went and had lunch at Penny’s
diner. Very nice restaurant, unique and
good food.
In the afternoon, I jacked the coach up and with the help of
Herb, I crawled under the coach and fiqured out what the problem was with the
left front jack – the jack indicating switch broke and blew out. I could not find another switch, so I plugged
it with a screw and O-rings.
Herb put in 5 quarts of oil into the system then we raised
and lowered the jacks to get the air out.
The left front jack just kept sinking into the dirt even with lumber
underneath it, so I will have to get some larger pieces of wood.
Special People today – Sonny and Pat, our neighbours. They wish we could stay longer, but who
knows, we might come back for a little longer.
