And yet another early morning start, off for breakfast to a
little community east of Yuma called Liguta, with Uncle Elroy and Aunt Anne.
There is a little coffee shop, where one can actually get coffee for $.50 with
a meal. I had the special, pecan cherry
pancakes, egg and sausage. It did tasty
yummy. The others had regular
breakfasts, but each looked yummy as well.
After breakfast, we headed further east, another 5 miles or
so, to another small community called
Wellton. They had friends who used to
live there, so they stayed there a number of times.
We headed back to Yuma, Uncle Elroy took us to their
vacation home (on wheels) and we picked some oranges from a neighbour across
the street – they sure smell like oranges.
In mid afternoon, we headed off to a Home and Garden show,
not very big, but nevertheless informative.
After this we headed to Walmart and Fry’s to do shopping for our trip to
Quartzite. We will be heading there on
Sunday around noon.
Todays Special Person – Andrew, 12 year old grandson. He enjoys football, wii and xbox games as
well as picking on his younger sister.
