Said our goodbyes to all who were left at Quartzite –
travelled back to Yuma with Powell and Char Brown.
In the afternoon we toured Yuma a little, then went to the
Yuma Swap meet at the dog track. This is much different than what Quartzite had
to offer.
Went out for dinner at the Am Vet , a small place like the Legion
in Canada, we had roast beef dinner –homemade
– yummy.
In the evening we played cards with Char and Powell. Well, the ladies beat us tonight.
Special People today – the management, and coworkers. I enjoy going to work most days, the job is
really cool and I am amazed how they made it many years ago – it definitely is
a work of wonder.
