Morning brunch at 9:30am.
What will happen today?? The brunch was awesome, pancakes with
blueberries or strawberries, eggs in many different ways, sausages, bacon, hash
browns.
Joe Garner and I headed to the RV tent to go to the
Roadmaster dealer, we walked through the tent and we found it at the very
end. Joe had bent his towbar, so he
decided to see if they could get it fixed, they determined that it was cracked,
took off the end pieces that hook to the car then gave him a complete new unit,
for a total cost of $165.00 – wow that is service.
I called Vadie, and she mentioned that her and 10 other
ladies had gone uptown, yup, eleven ladies in a 9 passenger vehicle – go figure
– could you imagine what that would be like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, they all had fun walking through the vendors
again. Vadie even behaved herself and
did not buy much.
On our way home, we decided to head to the Rainbow RV’ers,
we know the hosts, Greg and Tim. We were
lucky to find them there and had a great discussion with them. They will be joining us once their rally is
finished, which could be tomorrow. It
sure was good to see them.
During the afternoon, I went through some of my boxes to get
ready for the sale-a-thon which will be held tomorrow. Vadie has pottery, touques, etc to sell, and
I have a few things just to get rid of them.
For dinner, Stoup night, everyone brought a different kind
of soup, well some brought potatoes, salads and things like that as well.
As usual, the evening campfire, where people sit around,
share stories and chat. After that
Powell, Char, Vadie and I went to play cards – sequence – well the final tally
was 20 to 7, did we get our butts kicked.
There will be revenge though.
Todays Special Person – my oldest sister Helena. She lives in Coquitlam BC, a suburb of
