While walking the dogs yesterday, I noticed the perfect rig
for Stu. Nice camping facility, a place
to put the boat, quads and even has a solar panel. What more can a guy ask for?
Last night was somewhat sleepless, it seemed like a train
went by every 45 minutes or so, and the horn just kept blowing. I guess one can get used to it over time, but
not in one night.
We finally left around 10 am as we did not have far to go
today - 300kms.
We tried the engine from the front and no go, but it did start
from the rear, however, during the driving time, the coach ran smoothly.
On our trip this am, another problem arose, the step going
out was going real slow but eventually it did reach its full stroke. I tried adjusting the flow but it would not
work, not sure if I made it worse or not.
We took Hwy 385 south, and there was very little traffic and
we coasted most of the way at 55mph, that was until we encountered something
that wanted the whole road. This vehicle
had 124 tires in all, a puller tractor as well as a pusher tractor – I guess
this was what one would call a heavy load.
When we turned westward from Burlington Co to Seifert Co,
there was another train of heavy haulers happening, thank goodness they were in
rest area.
There is really not much in Seifert Co, mainly a grain
terminal.
Special person – Andrea – she takes care of Vadie’s second
mother, her Aunt Mandy.
