Dusty seemed to be okay this morning, he certainly is moving
slowly but then what he went through last night, it is no wonder.
We were ready to leave around 9:30am, and we travelled with
2 other birds to Moriarty.
We went stopped at
West’s Truck Shope, where we found three other birds.
After discussing what was going on, and if anyone else
needed repairs, the decision was to head to Roswell NM. We again travelled in a caravan, but this
time there were 5 of us. We arrived in
Roswell, and have decided to stay two
nights. Tomorrow we will head to the
museums and generally have a relaxing day.
For all of us, having boondocked for the past 5 days, it was
time to do laundry (ladies were lined up), dump the tanks, fill the fresh water
and get things organized for the next part of the trip.
Special Person – My fifth grandchild – Jordan – he became
part of our family when Steve and Cyndi adopted him. He certainly is a nice addition to the family
and has fit right in. He turned 14 this
year.
