Today is the last morning
of the Balloon Festival.
We are up at 6 AM, and the balloons all have any early
start. There are a few more balloons
that make it up for the first time, these are the special balloons such as the
elephant, cow, stagecoach, wheelchair etc.
The balloons have all reached the sky by 10 am and many
coaches leave, all except 9 BBers left.
The remaining crowd, have a potluck dinner and hit the hay
early.
Around midnight Dusty has somewhat of a heart attack, due to
the high altitude his poor little heart has been working overtime and I guess
it has caught up to him. After
contacting the vet, he has settled down and hopefully all will be well in the
morning.
Special Person – My fourth grandchild – Frank –a twin
brother of Jake. He too is a strapping
young lad. Both of these young lads have been a god send to Dannielle, they
help her usually without question, and they now each have their own job,
another step toward manhood.
