Today was a quiet day.
Sonny and I went out scourging the countryside to see if we
could find the ball joint linkage we required to fix the bay door. After looking at many places, we were
directed to an Off Road Specialty store, and yes they had them. I purchased 4 of them, as they were fairly
inexpensive and if I broke one on the road, well it would be tough to keep the
door closed.
When we got home, the ladies had a large leftover lunch for
us – gosh how is it possible that the leftovers taste as good or even better. Another awesome meal – thanks Vadie and Pat.
After lunch, we put the door together and adjusted it, it
works really good.
We taught Sonny and Pat how to play our version of “Mexican
Train” in dominoes. We had a very
enjoyable time.
Before the sun set completely, I climbed onto the coach and
polished a little of the top curve, it has a very dull look, I am trying to
brighten it up. I used some cut polish,
and it definitely brought some of the
shine out. I guess I will have to
do the rest of the top of the coach now.
Today’s special people are Randy and Carol Dupree – awesome
people, who opened their home to us when we purchased both of our coaches. Randy is truly a man of his word – thanks Randy. He is also the owner of
WanderlodgeOwnersGroup, which is dedicated to keep these lovely coaches on the
road.
