Merry Christmas everyone.
Santa came and we were pleasantly surprised with the gifts
we received – thanks Santa.
Jake opening gift
Dusty not too excited
both enjoying toys/snack
Jake was thrilled with the gifts that he received as he
ripped them open with lots of enthusiasm. Dusty could not muster up enough
energy to do the same, so Vadie helped him out.
We managed to talk to all of our children today, but
unfortunate that we were not able to contact my brother or sisters (glad to
have talked to my mom and sister Mary two days ago).
This morning I made breakfast for Vadie, eggs, toast, bacon
and hash browns, oh yes, I made some for myself too LOL.
The weather was coolish today, not warm enough to eat
outside like we had planned, so we were invited to go have dinner in their
fifth wheel.
Pat our neighbour and Vadie spent much of the day making
dinner, and a wonderful dinner it was.
The food list, hmmm where do I start – mashed potatoes, candied sweet
potatoes, green beans cooked in mushroom soup with onions, pickled beans, green
and black olives, carrots, strawberry/spinach topped with toasted almonds,
buns, homemade cranberry sauce, stuffing, turkey and ham. Then to top it off – two homemade pies, lemon
meringue and pecan. YUMMY, what a meal –
oh yes we have lots of leftovers.

Sonny
Doesn't look yummy
After dinner, Pat and Sonny were skyping with their children and later came over to the BB to see what it was all about - wanted to see the insides. Needless to say, they were really impressed.
Today, the special person is my wife Vadie. Thankyou for all the good things that you do for me, for us. Thankyou, thankyou.
