Fred/Fiona left today heading back to Ottawa.
Before they left, Rachelle wanted to show Opa how she could do on the bars.  She went both ways, she practiced so hard and long for the 4 days that she had blisters on her hands.

They expect to take a number of days to drive the 3000km. We said our goodbyes and they were on the road by 11am.

Later in the day, Tracey, Matthew, David, Frank, Jake, Vadie and I went shopping.  As usual Vadie spent too much money, LOL.

We had a lovely fish dinner at Dannielle’s house, then went back to the bus.

Twins, Frank and Jake, slept over, so they could give us a hand with loading clay the following day.

We met a German couple who was on a two year trip, starting from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and heading to the southern part of Brazil, zig sagging all across North, Central and South America.
There vehicle is is a Toyota diesel Land Cruiser which they have named "Turtle".  It has a top which is typical of the VW Westfalia which is used for the sleeping area.  It has numerous items to go seriously off roading.
