Another sad day, having to leave new found friends in the
city of Yuma.
We were mostly packed up on March 2nd, so this
morning it was quite enjoyable, the only two things left to do was, disconnect
the electrical cord and pull up the jacks – sure was simple.
After having said our goodbyes we were on the road about
10am.
We cruised steadily towards Eloy, our first destination.
We pulled into the truck place, and were helped immediately. I even got the top of the back bumper polished (I had removed the paint),
hmm the rest of the bumpers are going to be polished aluminum.
finished wheel
(Char the tires are still black, but the wheel looks a lot nicer LOL)
lots of manpower makes work light
wheels polished
bumper being polished
Wow, 40 minutes later we were ready to hit the road again,
so we continued onto Tucson, and we are staying at Whispering Palms RV
park.
Special Mark and Ginger Lauss – another BB’er from
Yuma. On our trip to Quartzite, he
narrated as we drove past the Yuma Proving Grounds. Yup, he even told us about the buildings that
are not there LOL. We stopped off where
they have a display of tanks and explained to us about them as well. While we
were in Yuma, we were invited to dinner, and we had a great time. Thanks Mark and Ginger.
