Another relaxing day today.
We headed out this am to the Wildlife Management Reserve
just outside of town, but we never saw any wildlife, and we did not drive down
all of the roads because the roads were so soft with the sand.
Terry came home from work early today, so we could spend
some time working on his coach and doing some computer things. We set up the inverters so they would turn
on, then I gave him some excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Street and Trips to
try. I showed both Donna and Terry how
to use them.
While I was busy with Terry and Donna, Vadie made dinner,
and as usual she did a wonderful job. We
had pork roast cooked with apples/apple juice/onions and beef broth, asparagus,
a spinach/strawberry salad, potatoes, then for dessert, raspberry shortcake –
delicious and yummy all rolled into one.
The coach is all packed up, and ready to hit the road, for
three days of open road to hit the Canadian border. After this long stint, we are finally heading
home with a few detours.
Special People today – thinking of Eloise Rinas, and her
family, to help them all cope with the loss of their husband/dad/grandfather and uncle. Eric passed away last night after a short
bout of cancer.
