Got up early this am and got all packed up.
Breakfast was at 8:30am, wow what a spread, scrambled eggs,
muffins of different sorts, fruit, juices, nobody should go away hungry.
After all our goodbyes, Vadie calls me “Chatty Cathy”, it
was almost 10:30am before we headed out.
A few little issues, but it was all corrected before we got too far
(with the towed).
We decided to head up Loop 303 which was alright, no
costruction as it is Sunday. BUT one
strange thing, the loop continued to go on, which we followed for another mile
or so, then turned around and went along the route we had intended. We finally got onto Hwy 17, and further up
the highway, there it was, Loop 303 was tied into the Hwy 17.
The remainder of the trip was uneventful but very
scenic. As we climbed higher we
certainly could notice the temperature change, which is okay with us.
Joe met us on Hwy 89 and we followed him into his place, the
road to his place is tight quarters, but we made it.
It sure is nice to see Joe and Pat again.
Special People today - a couple we rarely see or hear from. Pam and Dave Picinni. Pam is the daughter of Eric and Eloise, whom I mentioned yesterday. It was very nice of Pam to think of us, to tell us that her father is very sick. Thankyou Pam, you are special.
