I made breakfast for all this morning, French toast, bacon,
and eggs.
We went for a walk along the beach, the dogs loved it, chasing
the birds, and getting a little wet, not too much though LOL. It did not take long for them to dry off.
After lunch we headed to Port Aransas, crossed on the ferry and then
headed to Rockport after stopping at a couple of flea markets. In Rockport we went through a number of
museums/art galleries and toured the area.
Key Allergo clubhouse upon entering
Waterway to each home on back side
Front side of a modest home
Key Allergro – million dollar mansions with both 3 – 5 car
garages and boat slips right outside their homes
Homes on concrete or old telephone pole stilts – to help get
rid of the water during hurricane season.
Rockport - the
largest crab
Liferafts for the numerous oil platforms in the gulf.
Old mansions
Wind swept trees
Vadie made a wonderful BBQ’d chicken dinner for supper. We had dinner outside listening to the waves
crash against the shore.
The weather continues to be extremely nice for us. Today the temperature was moderate, about 22C
and has not cooled down this evening, it is to stay humid and warm 18 C all
evening. I have to admit that this is
very difficult for us - NOT.
