Today, was a sad day, we both had so much fun with Powell
and Char, working on the coaches, becoming a farmer, and the morning breakfasts
with the guys. There is no mercy at the
breakfast table, and if you slip up, well they all jump in, so I learned quickly
that one has to shift the morning topic to another rather than let them focus
on me, and me being a Canadian, I was the focus a number of days.
We drove from Mathis to Gatesville Tx, we chose this spot
due to the Passport America campground which would only cost us $10 per night
plus electricity. It is a nice
campground with both fulltimers, workers and travellers, and transients like
us.
The drive here was picturesque and very nice, we had a
couple of spots of light rain other than that it was overcast the entire
day. We arrived at 6:15pm, it was almost
dark here.
