Well after one day in Canada, we get this crazy Canadian weather.  This morning as I was hooking up the car to the coach, it started to snow.  The snow was light so we headed out after saying our goodbyes to our adopted family.

It sure was good to see them again, but especially seeing John and Lil because of their age.  The next time we visit, we must spend more time with the Gibsons, not just the couple of days we usually do.

The trip to Medicine Hat was uneventful except for some crazy drivers, but all turned out well.

It sure was good to see Dannielle (daughter) and family and Joe(son).  The grandsons age 17(twins) and 21 all are 6 ft plus.  The are huge boys, have they grown.  As the campgrounds are closed we are parked outside my daughters home.

Special People today – Chuck and Kathy – BB owners who are work campers.  This is something which I would think would be a great experience, help people and see North America at the same time.

Total Kilometers this trip -  14680.2                              Km travelled this day – 15.0

After a good nights sleep, yes we slept in, I made breakfast, eggs, bacon and toast.

We slowly got our act together, dumped the sewer etc. and headed to Coaldale.  The Bridgeview Campground was nice, because we are Passport America members we got the sight for $21.00.  This was not too bad since we had power and sewer dump but no water because the weather was too cold.
Thanks for owning a Wanderlodge, with the larger tanks and all.

We headed to Coaldale and are parked in front of the Gibson’s children family home, (used to be John and Lil’s home).  Here we have 15 amp power which keeps us going.  We are good at power management.

We spent the afternoon with Lori, then with Lil, headed to John’s long term care facility where we had fish and chips for supper.  It sure was good to see them again, they both are in good spirits.

After supper Lori and Tim came to the bus and we went through a number of photos of the trip, yes we had all sorts of stories to tell.

Special People today – JC, Eron and Bryson, young adults of Lori and Tim Gibson.  They truly make us feel like part of the family when we see them, and the way they look after their grandparents by visiting they often and all, they certainly are special.

Goodmorning all.  We stayed in Butte Mt.  Walmart parking lot overnight.  How do we know that we are going north, just look at the temperatures.  With these temperatures, we do not have to worry to much about turning on our air conditioning LOL.

The drive was uneventful, the coach ran flawlessly and the scenery was picturesque, just like it had been the past couple of days.

On our trip north, we were going to stop by a number of friends place, Chuck and Kathy, Matthew and Shelley, Sonny and Pat, but as things go, out of our control, we have things going on, which we have to attend to.

We crossed into Canada at about 6pm today, and the crossing went relatively smooth.  I am glad to be back in Canada, the trip has been awesome so far, the people we have met, travelled with and stayed with make it all the worthwhile.  We truly are blessed, and having friends like these makes it so much better.

In Lethbridge, we met up with our adopted family, Tim, Lori, JC, Bryson and Eron Gibson.  Tomorrow we will meet John and Lil, who are in homes for the elderly.  I met John and Lil 21 years ago through the Bus Conversions magazine, I had wrote an article about the 1960 Western Flyer which I had purchased and was intending to turn into a motorhome.

Special People today -Rose Gaulin, a family friend whom we do not see often.  Just to let you know we are thinking of you, and hope all is well.

Wow, what a special Day it is today.

Happy Easter to Everyone, and just as important are two special people in our lives, my mother, Maritje and my son, Joseph as it is their birthdays today – A SPECIAL HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you both.

To start the day, we headed to IHOP to have a good breakfast, which it was.  We knew it was going to be a long day, but we made it even longer, instead of stopping at the rest stop south of Dillon Mt, we headed to Butte Mt to stay at the Super Walmart.

Although, we drove the whole day, we did get to see lots of beautiful scenery.
in the morning Provo, beautiful snow covered mountains

The coach ran flawlessly, it sure is a pleasure to drive.  Having the sinewave inverter, TV’s and all the other goodies, it makes it much more comfortable when parked.
