I got up early this morning again, and went driving with my
son Joe. He drove for 1 ½ hours around
Medicine Hat, he is enjoying it, and doing a good job at the same time.
After lunch Vadie and I went to visit Kelley and Anne
McLauglin. We mainly visited with Anne
as Kelley was busy with his business – motorcycle restoration. We did however have a quick tour of his 82 BB
FC which he has been busy restoring. It was good to see them again.
For dinner we bought a large roast, this to celebrate
everyone’s birthday. With the roast,
salad, potatoes, carrots and gravy, and for dessert we had the left over ice
cream cake and chocolate cake, another awesome meal, we definitely do not go
hungry.
As we went to bed the rain was coming down again, what will
it be like for us in the morning??
Special People today – Connie Graham – a family friend who husband
and her brought a fishing boat, along with Vadie’s parents from Halifax through
the Panama canal to Vancouver. Of the
four, Connie is the only one still alive.
