Happy Birthday Riley.
It was great to see you again.
What a surprise when we woke up this morning, snow and heavy
frost on the ground. None of this was in
the forecast – it was funny to hear the weather forecasters trying to explain
what was going on.
We checked the road conditions and all seem to be ok, so we
headed out. We quickly learned that
there was no heat coming from the dash area, there was heat in the rest of the
coach though so those heaters had to work overtime to keep the coach warm. The worst part was our feet, so whenever we
stopped we warmed up our feet. The sun
shone brightly and this made our trip uneventful, keeping the roads dry.
We took the backroads most of the way as there is very
little traffic and somewhat more scenic that taking the freeway.
We arrived at John and Debbie’s place about 4:30pm, after
fueling up and seeing if we could dump the grey and black water, but everything
is closed. Will have to wait till we get
to Valemount, then we can add water as well.
Debbie had dinner waiting for us, chicken, potatoes,
carrots, broccoli salad and a green leaf salad.
Well, I mentioned to her that the dinner was delicious, and John says
“Is that all”, what about the saying on the blog, so I had to think about it,
then I corrected myself and told her that it was both “delicious and Yummy”
LOL.
Special People today – Riley, Tracey and Matthew – thanks
for coming down and visiting us. It sure
was nice to see you all again.
Thank you for all the info. My friend has done some Medicine Hat heating down there and he as said it is a beautiful area!
